The law firm Streitbörger was formed from a merger of the commercial law firms Streitbörger, Maaß, Stange and Gördes, Bielefeld, and Rinsche, Speckmann, Batereau and Schlüter, Hamm, Potsdam, Düsseldorf. With more than 70 lawyers, it is one of the largest law firms in North Rhine-Westphalia and Brandenburg.

The firm's specialised lawyers - 38 of them are certified specialists and 13 notaries public at the same time - advise and represent companies from Germany and abroad in all areas of commercial law, in particular corporate law, banking law, insolvency law, construction law, labour law, white collar crime, industrial property law and selected areas of administrative law.

Most of Streitbörger's lawyers are also partners of the firm - and thus entrepreneurs themselves. That shapes their actions. The aim of every consultation is to solve the client's problem as quickly and optimally as possible.

The firm's clients are mainly small, medium-sized and large companies from the manufacturing industry, trading companies, banks, insurance companies and service providers. Many have been clients for decades.

Admissions to the bar in New York and Madrid and English, French, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Polish and Russian skills acquired through university degrees abroad form the sound basis of our internationally oriented consultancy activity. In addition, the firm maintains long-standing contacts with selected partner law firms worldwide. This provides an efficient global consulting network.

Despite the highest level of specialisation, each client has a permanent contact person who takes care of all his or her concerns and - where necessary - calls in specialist colleagues. This enables us to offer our clients a broad spectrum of advice. Our commitment is never standard, but responds to the individual needs of our clients.
